Hi, in this video; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbNkoqnvihw what is the move that he does at 2:33 - 3:25 called, and where can I learn it? How hard is it? What would it compare to? Is it harder than bottom dealing? A lot? Because I don't even know how to start doing this move, it seems so hard, but I wanna learn it. After he does the switch, the card is not well in the palm. Might the people watching it see the card in my hand after the switch?
Thank you.

It's called the MacMillan Turnover switch. There's a 1-on-1 on this site with instruction from Jason England on the move. It's not hard at all. Compared to the bottom deal, it's a breeze.

As for seeing it in your hand after the switch, it's all about audience management and misdirection.

Thank you, I bottom deal, so that is a good thing, but if I did it to someone in a table in a magic trick (after a lot of practice), would they think that something is weird while I was turning over the card, or can I make them think that I actually just regularly turned over the card?
Thank you.

If I'm doing it as a magic trick, I sometimes leave the card face up, then turn it down with the switch, then ditch the other card somewhere before flipping it back over. And the switch looks completely natural if you do it with a little speed after practice, because it is smooth flowing and just looks like you turning a card over.

Hi

I have the same question, In this video: http://www.twitvid.com/BNED4 at 21s. What is the name of the move what dan(or dave) do on the background. He kick one card from the deck and pull it back.
Sorry for the bad quality video, and also sorry for my bad english.

It's quite a common change in many older card magic books. Vernon has a version that is around that in his Inner Card Trilogy. But the technique used is so general, that it's hard to pinpoint one specific creator.

Thanks man, I have been looking at that book mainly for the tricks, but if that color change is in there, I will have definitely have to pick it up.

Every time a do the switch, you can see the corner of the palmed card (other than that, the switch is good), any tips?
Thank you.
