I think most people are smart enough to realise magic isn't real, so showing your consultants or whatever is no biggy. I think it adds to things. Just think, Mindfreak would be kinda boring if you didn't have Banachek and the rest talking and stuff.

Except for the kiddies, most people know it's just entertainment. That being said, yes. Without all the people that work their asses off for him show after show, he wouldn't be as successful as he is right now. I'm sure he realizes that it's extremely hard to get where he is at, and that road is not possible without support and help from others. Thus, he's giving his team the recognition that they deserve.

Best.

I think it would make their image that much stronger. I mean look at it this way, if a magician steps out on the stage and has a mind blowing show and then takes a bow and thanks the guest thats great. But if he steps out and has a great show then thanks the guest and turns and gives thanks to his crew then people will remember that as a show with several dimensions to it, and not just a magician they saw do magic one time. Giving props makes for better entertainment and also leaves their spectators feeling they got more than what they paid for. I think it would be a bad PR decision not to thank your crew, sponsors, establishment, as well as the guest all together. Good thread though.
