Why do you do magic?

ok here is 1/2...
why do you do magic?
i dont want to know what got you in magic, or what your planning on becoming (a magician etc...) But in present days, why do you do magic?
Why?
is it to surprise peers?
get some jaws dropped?
get known?

i personally do it for me, i enjoy doing it, even if it goes wrong, (which it mostly doesn't because i practice my but off), i enjoy, studying how people view me before after, studying how they pay attention to what i do... but it enjoy it for myself, i just sit in my room and perform a trick to my self, and watch my own jaw drop...

I just love the joy of entertaining people and making their day. I have fun with it and makes me happy as well if i'm down.

I do magic for cookies!

I enjoy entertaining people, mostly I really enjoy it myself though.

but i really do magic for entertainment purposes becuase it is fun and if i can get paid for it in the future well......awesome!

I perform magic and cardistry because I believe that it is an underestimated art that should be considered as a beautiful art because of its mystery and brilliance. Every person that creates magic puts hard work on their masterpieces, just like other types of artists. Its a great way I spend my free time (as if I had any) and it helps me relaxed when I'm stressed out.
