Hey guys I've been wondering why I love cards? if u are a coinman post why do u like coins?... it'd be cool that u post why do u like cards more than coins or vice-versa..
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's my answers:

I love cards because I think that the ideas have almost no end, you can do flourishes, tricks, gambling routines, gambling with ur friends, etc.. I know the basic coins sleights, and thats it.. the coin trick, that I really would like to learn the sleights and all that thing is Charming Chinese Challege, it isnt like the other coin tricks (besides digital dissolve, sinful)..

So why cards or coins? =P

I love coins because everybody knows them. Not everybody knows what playing cards are. Like little kids. Plus, everyone has them and you can do tricks if you didn't bring your stuff.

I like cards because you can take them anywhere with you and always have a deck on you. There is also a huge array of things you can do with cards as you stated.

I do card and coin magic, but personally I prefer neither. They're too cliche'. The magic I really get into is magic done with rings, paper money, glasses, rubberbands, leaves, etc..

Ive liked cards since I was a little kid. Not real sure why, I guess just cause thats what I would see most people using. Sure my grandpa or whoever would make a coin come from my ear but that didnt impress me as much as the dudes that would come for like school assemblies and use cards. Aside from that I play ALOT of poker so being able to pass time with friends before we play is alot of fun.

Hmm... interesting question. I've always been a card guy. I don't know why, I'm just "drawn" to them. I can do a few very basic sleights with coins, but it just doesn't feel right when I perform with them. But the cards feel natural in my hands, and I'm fairly talented with them, if I do say so myself.

I think you would all laugh and make of me if I were to post a video of me performing with coins. :(

I love to perform with cards because of the pure myriad of things you can do with them, as opposed to coins, which you can really only make disappear and/or penetrate things. Also, cards have an almost mysterious air around them, but are still familiar/ordinary enough that people won't be suspicious. Also, with coins, you can easily switch in a subsitute coin, while with cards, that is more difficult.

Coins just don't feel that right to me. I don't know why, but they just don't. The only coin trick I ever do to be honest is Sinful. ;)

I have just always felt at home with cards. Why do I like them? I don't know to be honest.

I think all magicians should have a range of all types of magic. Cards and coins and others. But I don't know much coin magic. I perform way more with cards than coins. It seems like everybody these days knows what a palm is and that you can palm a coin in between the base of your thumb and pinkie. But to each his own.
