how old do you have to be to work at a bar? I just wondering.

If you are working at a bar, you should replace coins with bottlecaps

I would assume over 21, but in a lot of small towns, minors can go into bars.

different states have different requirements. I know that in New York where i live you can work in a bar at age 18 even though the drinking age is 21. I am 20 and have bartended in the past and work some bars locally occasionally. Also many bars will have under 21 nights. They mark your hand witih a big black X so the bartender knows not to serve you and make a killing on entrance fee's. Especially in college towns. find out local state law's. and good luck
