Wynns and your UV Blacklight

I was checking out my Brown Wynns with a blacklight for no apparent reason and noticed that there is a 5 digit alphanumeric serial on the cards faces (G6144). It matches the # below the barcode on the security control procedures card. Just thought I would point that out for anyone interested. I am assuming every deck is a different number and its for casino security reason that they are there as they are only on the playable cards and not the jokers and adverts.

Look closely it's small and easy to miss. Are yours also G6144 are are they different? This # is also stamped on the side of they box the bricks come in.

Edit: That number is also printed on my Ace and the UV # is just below that.

That made me laugh :)

EDIT: Looked at my Security Barcode card and mine is also G6144.

This number refers to the day they were made. The year is represented by the letter, and letters were replaced by pure numbers after 2000. The rest represents the month and day. I also think it might represent the batch it was made in, however I am not sure of that. That's the reason they ask for the ace of spades and defective card when you want to report a deck defective. They check and see if any other decks from that day have been reported defective to see if you are lying or trying to pull a fast one on them or not. You can thank good 'Ol Lee for most of that information.

can you please post a picture and have you tried your light on any other decks???

I was trying to get a picture last night, the BL seems to overpower the sensor in my Digital camera. I am going to play with settings tonight to see if I can capture it. Its invisible otherwise.

Not any other decks, other than the UV 500 E decks. I might check some others tonight.
