Jason England clearly knows his stuff, and I appreciate how he takes the time to troubleshoot any difficulties one might have. I'd definitely rate this as an intermediate sleight. It isn't the hardest (i.e. compared to bottom dealing), but it still requires a decent amount of practice. If you have small hands (like me), I recommend using bridge sized cards -- it'll make your gambler's palm look more natural as well as making it less likely to flash the switched card. Ultimately, in my opinion, it's mostly an excellent way to spark a little magic or just show off your technique. A great one to learn for sleight-of-hand aficionados!
USA • Dec 17th, 2020Great move! Jason does an excellent job explaining, but it isn’t an easy move so it will take some practice.
NC • Dec 6th, 2020I've been doing this move for over 25 years and had long forgotten where it originated. That's just one of the many things I enjoy about Jason England. Not only is he a world class card man, but a true card move historian.
Los Angeles, CA • Apr 26th, 2018This an awesome move, but isn't easy it requires practice and you need a knack for it. But still, this video is worth more than it is at the moment.
Australia • May 13th, 2016This move is no way easy; it will take some practice but once you get it you have it for the rest of your life. It's a great switch to do; I sometimes use it as a color change with a spectator's card - it's a great move to have if you are a into card magic and gambling. Jason is one of the best teachers that I ever learned from; he truly is a great teacher.

Providence, RI • Sep 21st, 2013I think this utility move is amazing. It's practical and very easy to do. It's not hard, it's the opposite. Very simple and highly useful. I thank Jason England for this product. 5 stars and I recommend this to anyone who wants a cheap card switching move.
Chicago • Dec 6th, 2012That is amazing! But it is very hard to do, I think it should be advanced rather than intermediate.
USA • Nov 13th, 2012To all those people who say this is impractical because it's too hard, take up juggling. Thanks for saving these ones for the big boys.
Florida, USA • Jul 15th, 2012The other day I was messing around with the MacMillan Switch and watched the video that Jason did and it prompted me to write this review and I will tell you why. The MacMillan Switch is by far one of the most fun moves to not only practice, but perform. When you do the switch the look on people's faces is absolutely priceless. It is a great display of skill and the very symbol of cheating at cards in my opinion. It does have an element of difficulty like all sleights and will take some practice, but I still strongly recommend purchasing this fantastic move. Jason does a fantastic job of teaching the move and you simply have to be moved by the dedication that Jason added to one of the men who added to the move and recently passed away. Therefore, this is a solid five out of five for the effect, the numerous applications, the cinematography, and the great teaching by Jason. Grab them cards and click purchase!
California • Jun 15th, 2012With all honesty and with great respect to Jason England, this move is of no practical value, because it's difficulty is not worth it's effect.
