Matt,
Great job on the interview. Banachek seemed real down to earth. I think it was cool he stayed after the show to answer questions and do some signing. You didnt say anything about how the show was.
How long was it?
How did he perform?
What did you learn from it?
What did others in your school think and take away from it?
Again man, awesome job!!!

The show started at 8:00 and I was walking to my car around 10:00... so it was about an hour and a half.
The performance went very well and he had a killer opening- He had everyone think of a card. He told four randomly selected audience members stand up and he named the exact card all four times just by reading their body language!
I learned that no matter what happens on stage, don't freak out if something goes wrong. In the interview, Banachek said he messed up his Psychokinetic Silverware routine, but I didn't catch a thing. Being able to think on your feet is a skill worth perfecting.
As far as the reactions from the other students around me, they seemed like they genuinely enjoyed the show and were baffled and amazed. He even did the circle and triangle trick (found in Banachek's book Psyhcological Subtleties) and he asked if anyone who had thought of a circle and a triangle to please raise their hand. Gasps and laughter flooded the audience as everyone looked around to see that just about everyone had raised their hand.
Ha, thanks. I knew if I had the chance to talk to Banachek, I couldn't pass it up!
I suppose this concludes T11's coverage of Banachek: Miricals of the Mind. Tune in next time for Angela Funovits's amazing fire manipulation rountine!
Maybe.
