I still wouldn't mind a demon-ish deck. I mean, I'd buy them as long as they were of good quality and style. Plus, I'd want them in normal rider back size. It would be pretty cool, but yeah...I'm not sure if Theory11 will take that bait on that one. Something tells me though that they will release another deck when they are ready, and we shouldn't be dissapointed.

maybe they should come out with cards with balls as the design, like big giant flesh colored balls you know like the kind you play dodge ball with those balls you buy at k mart balls, giant balls

I really think Theory11 should focus on releasing more effects. It's no point to have sweet cards, if you don't know how to use them ;). Just be patient young grasshoppers, don't jump to conclusions and speculation that isn't there.

I'll laugh about the brazenness of it, but be disgusted at the same time.

I would rather Theory 11 focus on more tricks, DVD's, 1-on-1 section, rather than more decks of cards, because lets face it: The cards don't do the magic. The magician does. You could have the coolest cards ever, but if you don't know how to use them, then you're just a sad little person with a cool deck of cards, and that never got anyone anywhere.

Personally I do not see whats wrong with having more cards..
It'll be a nice touch when you are performing for different events and even for different routines. While contemplating the demon cards idea.. I was thinking of maybe putting it together with the flaming bible and stigmata.. sounds like it could work.

As for us worrying about our sleights and skills, that is obviously the most important. But one shouldn't bash another just for wanting cards right?
One could also be something like a card collector and a demon deck would be a nice addition.

So, yes as all (i hope) of us do.. we will worry and practice our sleights.. and sure more decks are not important. But I would really like to see something like that done:D

Not was targeting anyone specifically, just did not like the way an idea was shot down like that.

But like the oath we were sworn to obey and protect.. "to practice till we can perform it while still upholding the illusion of magic"

So yeah, we all have to worry on our skills :) but like they say.. "If you have it flaunt it! :D"

Hmm, nice way to take one phrase of mine and make it seem as if I said Bridge Cards ruin your magic... nice..

What I SAID was that practising with Bridge cards (The original poster said that they could be used to do things faster) makes it harder to use normal cards and that is true. Learn the pass with Bridge cards then try it on a poker deck... you WILL find it harder. Using bridge cards to learn your moves faster is pointless as it will make it harder and make you do double work to learn the move(s) you are trying to perfect.

<sarcasm> Its like trying to snap change with a jumbo deck </sarcasm>

;)

My statement was a general one drawn from many conversations about bridge cards. It was not intended to be a quote of yours.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure most people start out with poker cards and switch to bridge cards because of small hands. This means that most people who generally use bridge cards can use poker cards no problem, they just think bridge cards are easier. . . which they are. So yeah, poker cards are harder. Some people, though, think that if you spend to much time with bridge cards, you'll somehow forget how to handle a deck of poker cards. I'm not saying you were saying that, I'm just commenting on general sentiment toward bridge cards.
