The lack of symmetry was done on purpose. It was intentionally designed to have a one way back, which allows for a world of possibilities, so one would be lead to believe that it will remain that way. But we shall see ...

Yes I thought of that but to order them all correctly oriented for whatever you are doing would suck. Maybe it would be nice but I'm having a hard time thinking of a practical anytime use for it. It's also somewhat tough to spot quickly. If you think of anything however, I'd love to know.

Although it seems a little odd, the one thing I really love about The Guardians (not that I can afford to own any at the moment) is the wide borders. From what I've seen of them on the net, that's what I like the most

Are you talking about the whole image's printed orientation, or the design?

The orientation is something that is out of their control and is a quality control issue that has grown over the years with USPCC cards. This is what results in all of your Bike's having uneven boarders all around.

However, the Guardians have a discrepancy built into their DESIGN that makes them one way. I personally actually find it TOO easy to see, and would have preferred a more subtle difference.

Well, I'm offended that I was told to go to whatistheory11.com, only to find The Dark Angel cursing, as he stated "a$$."

I don't believe that I'm able to sue him because I'm "offended" because offensive speech is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.

However, if that speech were to display a "clear and present danger," Schenck v. United States, 1919, then I would be able to sue him, according to the Supreme Court of the United States of America ... But I digress. :D

guyd, for the last tiome, the one way back is NOT the dis-oriented backs! That is caused from the presses being callibrated improperly! It's oni some normal bikes too! The one-way is to the laft and right of the angels.

However, theory11 is in the jurisdiction of the United States of America, and therefore all rules and regulations, in coordinance with the United States Constitution and its laws and regulations, apply.

Some Guardians, as any deck of cards, can be misprinted due to errors in the machines that make them. However, all Guardian backs aren't identical, as it is a one-way deck.

Hopefully there will be alternate color schemes.

To be honest with you. The only other color scheme that I could deal with would be a total black deck. I mean, it only makes sense to have a "Demon" deck when you've got "Guardians" on the other.

But that just gave me a random idea. Remember Gambit from X-men? Who wouldn't buy a deck of purple/red holofoil pipped casino grade cards? Much like the kind he would throw.

Eh, just an idea. It doesn't deserve much attention. In fact, go ahead and just ignore that last one...

My 2 cents

The cards are beautiful. The finish needs to be better. And I feel that the whites on the back design should be STARK white. It would really make them POP! other wise they are just okay.

I think a "Demons" or "Fallen Angels" deck would be cool, but only if it was a shade of red kinda like the hearts and diamonds are.
IMHO, of course.

Aesthetically, the deck looks exactly the same except for one minute, tiny difference on the box. Will let you guys figure out what that difference is, though. If you want to know more, go to WhatIsDifferentAboutTheBox.com next Monday at midnight.

Uh, at this website (not this again lol!) is it going to state the difference? All I see is words saying the first edition is gone, and a link to some yellow decks.

Jonathan Bayme gave the site as a joke -- it wasn't supposed to exist, but it apparently does. The site will not tell the difference -- it has no relation to theory11.

If you would like to find out the differences in the Second Edition from the First, check out this article.
