In regards to the effect, I didn't actually watch the video. I was told Katy Perry was in the video and on the off chance that it's possible to catch a venereal disease from YouTube, I didn't want to risk it.
However, I have seen variations on this effect marketed. It takes a very certain type of performer and audience to pull it off as there is an element of playing with fire. Nevertheless, I've known several women who enjoy that sort of racy humor. And no, little boys, they are not sluts.
