I dont know what the big deal is with Control. I'm sure all of us know how to stop our pulse, and i know how to stop random spectators pulse as well. Im not being rude, dont get me wrong, Wayne is pure genious. All im saying is he can do better than a pulse stop. Like Suffocation for example. An exploding soda can, that will go amazingly well with a self opening soda can taht i do.

I remember Wayne Houchin was on a magic radio broadcast and I asked him about suffocation. I think he said it was an implosion of a soda can.
W:H was qouted on this site as saying that the ultra gaff is still in the works and will be his last E production.
I don't see why we need Control. Luke Jermay nailed it really well. But you never know, there may be something else we don't know about it yet. I don't think Wayne would release a trick we already have, unless it brought something new to the table. I think its a pulse stopping effect with a twist of some sort.
How can you improve a pulse stop though. Think about it, they feel your pulse and its gone. Ya know waht i mean? Cant really improve that. And what pulse stop of Lukes are you referring to
Its in his book, 7 deceptions, and on his DVD skullduggery. He stops his own pulse with no gimmicks or anything of the sort, and then stops a specs pulse. But to stop the Specs pulse you will need to buy, ummm...I cant remember but its like a crystal on a string, cant remember it. But I pretty sure that sort of thing was used by cults. So if that bothers you, (as it does me) and you don't want to use it, you wont be able to stop a specs pulse, only your own. But its possible you could find another way of doing it, I'm sure of it.
I don't know how Wayne could put a twist on it, but there must be something new.
Luke Jermay's pulse stop is in 7 Deceptions and Skullduggery. It's called For Andruzzi I think. He makes his own pulse stop then proceeds to make a spectator's pulse stop. The second is psychological. The first can work both ways. Oh and the crystal thing he's talking about is a small pendulum.
I have al of lukes stuff and alot of derren browns stuff. And damn near everything relies on suggestion. Nothing is really happening you just make the people believe it is
I've seen Houchin devastate spectators for years with Control and my honest opinion of the effect is that it is brilliant. Undeniably brilliant. It's not just a new presentation of an old effect. I would compare the workings of it to "Sinful: Quarter Through Soda Can." It's that good in my opinion. Of course, I can't speak for anyone else, but I would ask that you reserve judgment on the effect until you own it. It might just surprise you.

I know, its so much fun. I remember when I did the pulse stop the first time I was like, this worked? what is wrong with this person?
Its sort of boring though to practice, because you really just have to say things over and over and remember them. Drives me crazy.
And i have nothing to say because i have yet to see even a video of this haha. But seeing all of waynes material, i cant imagine control being any less brilliant than his past creations

Yes so would I. I actually have a great pulse stop I came up with a few years ago, completely impromptu and doesn't require suggestion or actually hurting your body in any way. I'm going to PM Wayne andask him about Control.

Suffocate sounds really cool to me. Anyone know any possible release dates for Control or Suffocate?
If you could post a link or something that would be cool. But, these effects so really killer, a can imploding? Like who would see that coming, and if it's impromptu then I'd just do that all the time just for fun

The can effect I do is an accidental extension of Mark Kornhauser's comedy effect Psycho-can-esis. Not the same method I promise.
