think of how it pertains too you and then keep what works for you and discard what doesn't.

Quoting for emphasis. I know I get passionate when I post and it might seem like I think my way is the only way - always, always, filter what you read for your own situation.

Maaz Hans, honestly, you are getting quite a bit of good advice here and should really take into account/think about and decipher what is best for you here....make sure not just to sift through this information from these guys but really read it, think of how it pertains too you and then keep what works for you and discard what doesn't.

Lol I am :)

[QUOTE="ApocalypseHero4, post: 466081, member: 173141So, from everything I have read from this post, it seems like you have settled on starting off with Guerrilla Magic and then slowly progressing into full on street busking or shows in a public place at your school....am I right about that? If so, what makes you think that's the best route and what kinda area where you thinking about doing the show you mentioned in your first post? Like, I need more detail about the area and what it really is since you really didn't explain that. Last question, why are you putting so much pressure on yourself to plan every little single detail before you even begin performing the tricks you know? Not trying to sound rude or anything there, it is a genuine question and I didn't know a better way to word it so I am sorry if it sounds rude. Anyways, look forward to hearing your answers so I can help you out.[/QUOTE]

As these guys suggested, I am going to steer away from guerrilla magic. I have been performing in school, for people I know and don't know for... a year and a half? Maybe 2 years. I'm not entirely sure when I started performing. I am not really sure I want to start busking s of yet, more so just do this to get some experience. I have been performing longer than that. However, approaching people inside a school environment is going to be pretty different from approaching people in a street environment.

At the moment, I am really just trying to figure out how I should be approaching complete strangers without going Guerilla. I have heard so many mixed answers so far.
