I'm sure you all know that David Blaine recently attempted to break the world record for holding your breath under water, and he beat it!

I don't think he beat that first record underwater. I think he lasted like 6 min them gave up.

I believe Joe is talking about the record he broke last week, which he did in fact break. When he tried two years ago, he did not "give up" he had to be rescued from the tank because he was starting to pass out.

yes i am, he has convulsions while trying to break the record 2 years ago, which was holding ones breath underwater with no 'pure oxygen' beforehand...
