Do you have a deck of Jerry's?

If you're getting Jerry's Nugget cards by paying more than $20 and proceed to break the seal open, I reserve the right to call you an idiot.

What do Jerry's Nugget cards look like to your average spectator? Playing cards. What if they want to use them to play games, which they are intended for anyway? Big NO-NO! If you tell them why, they'll probably look at you as if you're an idiot. Wouldn't you rather use playing cards that you actually DARE to rip, sign, toss, lubricate and even give away without spending a fortune? To all people out there who break the seal of their $100 Jerries, I hope you'll do a bear-trap motion with your legs in order to stop gravity from having it's way with your cards, creasing one of those bastards.

I tried some Jerry's Nugget cards out at FISM, I can't really say I think much of them. Sure the stock and finish is quite different from our everyday Bicycle and Tally-Ho cards, but that doesn't make up for the fact that I can get dozens of Bikes/Tallys for the same price as I can get one Jerry's Nugget deck for.

I love the fact that Lee Asher is ripping them up during lectures and conventions, and that he's using them to perform his Fingerbox of death. While making some people groan, it makes some people understand that it's still just playing cards, despite being a bit hard to obtain due to some reasons.

All the best to you people that are using Jerry's Nuggets which you paid less than $10 for, but as for the rest of you, I hope your 2-year-old little sister gets ahold of them.

I have 8 decks of Jerrys. 4 red/ 4 blue. I have opened a blue to play with them and see how they are, and they are far superioir to any deck i know. They are just great cards that last so much longer than bikes. I techincally only have 7 as i lent a deck to a friend. I understand they are incredible sought after, but i am not going to pay a substantial amount...just to let them sit there. I want to know what they feel like, and why they were so popular etc, and that is why i dont care about the seal being broken etc. I have 6 decks left still unopened and sealed. I saw ONE deck go on ebay the other day for £116!!!!!!! That is about $230!!! For one deck!!! Insane!!! I got my 8 for an incredible price, and if more come up, i will get them

PM me and we'll talk it out.

To answer the topic, I have around 35-40. Started losing count now that I am selling them again.

I don't see how Nuggets can be any better quality than Bicycle Masters Edition.

I will rather pay less for the same quality deck.

The Nuggets are also rarer, which adds to its value.

Not many people have it, and I would pay more money for a deck of cards that as rare as they are, even though other decks of the same quality are available.

The reasons that people want the Black Ghost deck are the same reasons why people want a deck of Jerry's.

Cheers,
JTM

I just did something some people will hate me for haha. Today I was messing around with my black ghost deck, the thing feels awesome. I gotta get another brand new ghost and compare the two, I'm out of ghosts.

Thanks,
Evan

I don't. I'd like to try them to see what the 'hype' is all about, but I most likely won't have any unless some generous person sends me some free or the price really goes down (drastically).

I opened the deck of nuggets that I got from Chris too....I just couldn't leave a virgin deck of nuggets sitting there...LOL!

Now I'm trying to find someone willing to part with a used deck of em or something for a reasonable price so I can actually play with them, and take them out of new deck order. LOL!

Best.
Steve

Darn, you're out of Black Ghosts.

I've never had it, but I know the feeling of running out of a deck of cards - I, too, was messing around with a deck, not the Black Ghost, but rather the Black Guardians, they, too, feel awesome. I also must get another brand new Guardians and compare the two, for no obvious reason than to just brag about it. :D

I meant I'm out of normal ghosts, I want to compare normal to black.

Thanks,
Evan

I understand that they are rare and if you are collecting decks, it would be a great investment.

I on the other hand don't collect decks but perform card magic. I will not pay $100+ for a deck of cards that I won't dare to use.

If the Nuggets where mass produced for a normal price, I may give them a try. I don't care to have something rare I can't use.

It's like having a rare Ferrari Dino in the Garage but not drive it. What's the point?
