Well, in sexual assault cases, one of the first things investigators check out is the defendant's computer because if there's any indication of what that person is "into," his computer is the place to look. That actually makes sense. Now what I want to know is why the heck they seized all that money in a sexual assault case.

I hate (and I mean absolutely hate because I'm going to catch hell from you guys) to play devil's advocate, but have any of you ever considered the remote possibility that Mr. Copperfield might not be as innocent as he wants everyone to think he is? I happen to know that you can't generally peg a sexual offender just by looking at him or her. Predators are often quite charming and personable, actually, rather than being creeps. Think about it. If you were a woman (which some of you are, I gather), would you walk into a hotel room/private suite/whatever with somebody who was creepy or gave you a bad vibe? I mean, Ted Bundy was one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet (socially speaking). Seriously. And look at his rap sheet. It's over thirty women long. He was successful because he was able to make people like him. I'm not saying David's guilty. . . I'm just saying we won't know that until more information pops up. You guys are so quick to exonnerate someone just because you admire Mr. Copperfield. . . let me ask you this. . . what did you think of the people standing outside Micheal Jackson's courthouse waving signs that said "Mike is innocent. Free Mike"? They were just fans who believed their hero was innocent. Now, it turns out that the courts found him innocent, but you get my point, right? Don't jump to conclusions just because you like the man.

And yeah, of course his bloody lawyers are going to tell people he's innocent. . . after all, if the gloves don't fit. . .
