Hey guys. So I've been looking into putting a few gambling tricks into my routine, and so far the only really great one I've got is Recycled Poker by Lennart Green. Does anyone else know any other good, high-impact gambling tricks? Thanks!

Take a look at James Swain, Jack Carpenter, Martin Nash, Andrew Wimhurst, Darwin Ortiz and if you can find it: Jason England's Jamming with the Fellas.

They all have awsome gambling routines. I am not familiar with Lennart's routine the above mention ranges from Intermediate to Difficult

I second Unclemings' recommendations and would also like to recommend Buckley's card control. It has great routines and moves in the Conjuring at the Card Table section that, for some reason, seem to be overlooked. As an added bonus most of the routines in there are relatively simple.

I dont know if you have the TA set, but there is a trick called Reswindled by Caleb Wiles. I absolutely love that trick, and you can do it from a shuffled pack. The trick appears in his book High Spot, I do not have that book, but its a cheaper way to learn the routine. The best performance i can find for it is joshua jays. Either find the video online or PM me for the link. I dont think im allowed to post a link to other magic sites in the forum.

Are you looking for a gambling themed card effect (ie a walk around style card effect that could be presented to a layman as gambling skills) or are you looking for the real deal?(A sit down, table routine that demonstrates many of the moves gamblers might use in a real game of poker or blackjack?)

ReSwindled by Caleb Wiles is a great poker themed effect. So much magic happens in the effect. I recommend "High Spots". Lots of practical worker effects from a worker, who'da thunk?

John Bannon's Poker Pairadox Redux (John Bannon's Bullet Party) is one that uses a great self working yet convincing principle.

Cameron Francis' new ebook Kapow has an effect called Cheaters Sleeve which I've been doing a lot lately. Pretty darn easy to do.

Those are a couple of my favorite gambling themed effects. Enjoy.

A walk-around effect. Nothing too fancy or formal, but rather something that could still pass off as "magic" rather than just gambling skills. I'm mostly interested in dealing good poker hands and such.

This is one of my favorite for that style of magic. Still need some table space but you can always use a few spectators hands if you need it.
