@crimson ace- If fanningis ultimately the most important thing for you then I would go with one of the Bee brands, particularly any with an Aristocrat stock. When it comes to fanning you can never fully guarantee that what you experience will be the same as someone else. Different skin oils, skin moisturizers, hand soaps, and atmospheric conditions of the place you live all factor in to how clumpy a deck will get. Never the less, the Aristocrat Bee's are widely regarded, not just by me but by many, as one of the best fanning decks and having one of the longest lasting fans. When I said be cautious of them in humid weather I meant that the stock seems tol soften up quite a bit, but the fan continues to be excellent.

In regards to Richard Turner's cards. I have not tried them yet but all the reading I have done on them indicates that it is basically a traditionally cut bee card printed with a Bicycle design. As for the info from the person at the magic shop. I don't know the guy who told you that but remember, not all magicians are serious card guys. Most magicians who are not really into their cards probably couldn't tell the difference between a Bee and Bike in a blindfold test. You are the best to judge if this person does or doesn't fit that category. If he is a solid card worker then heed his advice but if he is more of a generalist I would say give them a try.

I hope some of that was useful to you. Currently the T11 stingers are off the market while they get redesigned and printed. The Bee card on the Aristocrat stock that is still currently on the market are the Bee "Expert At The Card Table" 2nd editions that are still available at dananddave.com . Also, don't discount the plain old Bee Club Specials. The edges are not quite as smooth and they don't fan quite as well as the Stingers and the EATCTs but they are still a very fine card.
