L-Cuts

It's a term used in woodworking; when dovetailing a joint you want to use a bandsaw first and place an L-cut in the proper channel, or else swelling from the humidity where you live may cause your chair to fall apart when it changes shape. Of course if you're in a dry hot climate they aren't necessary, all this is covered in Jerrys encyclopedia if you'd just buy it.

What's with the bull****? as far as i can recall, i specifically placed this thread in the cardistry/Flourishing section.

That means if you havent sussed it out yet, that an L-cut must be some sort of Flourish or cardistry related.

Whoa, Lets slow it down yeah?

L-Cut..

Flourish..

Get it? You dont have to be an ass just to say that its a goddamn flourish.

anyways, here's the closest thing i could find to an L-cut

Jonas performs it at 5:21 shortly, you cant really see the cut, but its a simultaneous thing that happens.

The post was not directed at you my friend. It was more towards those guys that think they're funny.

Edit: Im sorry, it did sound like i was criticizing your lack of knowledge with the cut, i was merely trying to instigate that an L-cut is a flourish, and therefore there should be Flourish related answers, Not woodworking **** or other crap that is not related.

Apologies to you my friend.

An L cut is when you edit a scene in a movie so that it jumps to another scene without matching the sound. This can be useful for making a smooth transition. For example, if you have some piano music and you want to finish the song, but you don't have enough footage, do an L cut, which changes scenes before the end of the song.

That was not a joke.
but seriously, if you want to see some good L cut action:

Why inquire?

If the purpose of asking is to be answered, then be answered PROPERLY. Just because that guy didnt start the thread doesnt mean you can be an ass to him.

This place is going downhill.
