PS *To be clear, I should have mentioned that after saying the line, "Well one night after I had performed a couple minor miracles with the cards, I had a guy select a card and return it to the deck" at that point I have the spectator that I am presenting the trick to in real time select a card, and to show it around if there are others, and ask the spectator to memorize the card. I take the card back, place it on top, and control it to the bottom with an overhand shuffle, then another overhand shuffle retaining the selection on bottom, and as I am doing this shuffling, that's when I am saying the line:
"and I started to shuffle like this."
"and I started to shuffle like this."
