Noob to Magic with $90 budget

I wouldnt recommend books at all. Of course if you want to be in the cool club books are the way to go. However if you want to learn I recommend dvds. Visual learner or not. I dont think it could be argued strongly at all that its easier to learn from a book than a dvd. Im not saying theres better content necessarily in dvds over books, just that its alot easier to pick up.

I agree with whoever said it before me, crash course, ninja, and of course the 1 on 1 stuff on here is a good place to start.

Before anyone flames me thats just my opinion.

I highly disagree. All the classics are in books. They may not be the easiest place to learn from but who said life is easy. You should learn all the basics from books because all the new effects all branch out from the classics.

Card college series, and royal road to card magic; those should be enough. You can perform for hours. I know this exeeds the budget, but try getting them both, and you can purely rely on these.
