Saturday Night Contest - Resolutions for 2025!

This year I started regularly performing for strangers in a restaurant and meeting/talking to other magicians multiple times a week.

Next year I want to continue/increase that even further and do some paid shows

This last year I really started getting serious about magic and performing. I put in a ton of work and am starting to get more and more gigs. I also was able to officially join the S.A.M.

For 2025, my biggest goal is to get my personal show going as well as perform even more. I would also like to attend Magic Live for the first time!

I started 2024 with a small collection of cards, close to maybe 10 decks. Now at the end of the year I have managed to collect over 150+ both T11 and other interesting designs, I have learnt so much in the ways of how the cards are designed and manufactured, and one day I would hope to use my graphic design studies to create a deck of my own. Going into 2025 I would like to finally become an elite member and continue expanding my collection of cards. Happy New Years.

In 2024, I started my card collecting and magic journey when I was given a theory11 pack that I love at a poker night. This coming year, I hope to learn more tricks and to add more theory11 cards to my new and currently small collection

2024 was an excellent year for me! I progressed so much with my magic and card collection! This Summer I was a camp counselor, working with young kids (ages 6-8), and I was allowed to have my very own magic camp! I had such a wonderful experience sharing my joy of magic with the kids. I would teach the most basic and simple tricks with tic tacs and toothpicks etc, yet the kids seemed so happy and excited to show everyone what they had just learned that it made me feel so thrilled to have been able to share a little bit of the joy of magic with them! I could not have asked for a better Summer!

As far as my goals for magic in 2025, I hope to be able to become much more proficient at my sleight of hand and my cardistry skills. Another goal is to be able to continue to spread the joy of magic to those around, especially young kids who will see it and become bewildered and curious about the amazing art of magic

This year I worked on my magic and got some new decks of cards to grow my collection. I hope to perform for some more people this year. Thanks so much for the contests and all the magic and cards you produce.

In 2024 I've been able to share the hobby of card collecting with a new set of people who appreciate it for the art and design as I do. One such person is an up and coming designer who took inspiration from a Billionaire Boys Club deck I gifted him in exchange for one of his own designs.

My hope is that in 2025 I can continue to spread the joy of card collecting and inspire others. If we're lucky, said designer will also get the desire to create a quality deck all his own. Who knows? Maybe his path will cross with T11 and we'll have another awesome collaboration on our hands.

I learned a lot of tricks and stunts this year. And I bought some great decks of cards.

I've really struggled to do much magic related stuff this year, a bit burnt out I think. I've been buying decks, but rarely using them.

Next year, I'm hoping to get a deck of cards back in my hands and get performing more for friends and family

I’ve expanded my collection, both magic and playing cards due to some extreme bouts of fortune. I also invented one of the coolest CMH moves ever, and became much more humble. I hope to create more magic and start gigging in 2025

This year I tried to perform a card trick out of a christmas cracker (and failed). Next year, I hope to expand my repertoire and successfully perform at least one trick.

To be honest I don't think I archived lot in 2024 in magic or cardistry but I have high hopes with 2025 , I want to show magic to alot of friends and alot of strangers ❤️ I love to see people's reactions to magic but all of us magicians knows that the reactions we get after performing are very unique. Like a person can cry on different occasions, laugh at different occasions but the reaction to magic is very unique.

Bought my first magic trick this year (Omega) and was hooked! Love showing my kids new tricks. In 2025 I want to work on building the fundamental cardistry skills (pinky counting, forces, etc.).

Expanded my deck collection by 12 decks, and started trying out some other types of magic.
Next year I hope that I'll be able to work on some cardistry and practice more advanced sleight of hand techniques

This year I more than doubled my cards collection and I am pretty proud of it! Still waiting for my latest order, with GoT, TMNT decks and that gorgeous 007 boxset, I can't wait!

My resolution this year will be to start showing them off with actual cardistry moves. This is something that I always wanted to learn and to master, and 2025 is the year I will start!
