I've done this with glow in the dark stars and poster putty. Offset them on the fan blades enough so that it made a spiral when the fan was on.

Well like I said, I'm more of a magician, I HATE not entering snc contest so I threw in a magic trick with my flourish.

I hope you guys like it. I do wish it was more flourish related, but I guess you can't make a baker cook a fish......
