It would be cool to do a contest where you have to perform a magic trick that would be useful in real life. Some examples are things such as a self-sharpening pencil or water glass that fills up on your command. It should be anything that, if you could do real magic, would benefit your day to do day life.

You could do something like Chris Severson did on his Instagram profile. You can post a picture to your Instagram with a certain grip that seems awkward and only has a limited amount of flourish combinations that can be accomplished with it, then have people post a response with a certain hashtag.
