Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone knew of a bottom deal where the cards are dealt in a strike style instead of a a push off (hope that makes sense).

Check out Jason England`s Bottom Deal download. As far as I remember he shows a Gene Maze Grip strike bottom and also one from mechanics grip.
There are other resources with bottoms where the card isn`t pushed out, but buckled for an easier strike. Can`t remember but I think it was in...Card College 3 or 4?! and also a strike (again not sure) in Arthur Buckleys Card Control and Card Magic of Paul Le Paul ?!

Thanks.
I know this may sound kind of confusing but im actualy looking for a bottom deal that is dealt in the style of a strike deal (striking the top card off with the right thumb to deal as opposed to pushing it off and dealing), either strike or push out would be fine.

In that case I'm confused, wouldn't that simply be doing any bottom deal without the left thumb pushover motion? Why would you have to change anything else?

Thats what I thought when I first started trying it.
But I had next to no cover for removing the bottom card in a push out and the deck would just fall out of my hand doing strike bottom.

Then you should try the classic Erdnase Bottom Deal. The card is pushed off by the left thumb for cover, but as your right hand grabs the top card a buckle slides out the bottom card for your right hand to grab onto.

Pros:
- can be done with any deck (even sticky)
- easiest to get a firm grip on the deck with

Cons:
- beware knuckle flashes
- the look of the deck grip looks a bit off

I didn't master the bottom deal yet, but that's what I know about the Erdnase grip. Mabye someone more experienced like erdnase97 can help.

Well for a long time I did all my buckle bottom dealing without the left thumb action. It looks significantly better with it, but with proper timing can still be invisible without it. The timing being that the card gets buckled out at the exact moment the right hand "strikes." The key to true bottom strikes is the left hand grip, and the direction your right hand attempts to take the card. You have to ensure that their is no resistance from your hand or the deck on the bottom card, which is achieved with tight but delicate grip, and by pulling the card directly to the right or even down. A nice advantage to mastering the right hand removal for strikes, is that you can negate many of the telltale noises of bottom dealing.

I do a bottom deal in strattle grip
all I do is as I take the other players cards (not coming off the bottom) I use my fingers to sorta pull the bottom card outwards being covered by the top card and then it is very easy to take the card off the bottom, you can also do a center and push off second deal in this fashion
i am currently working on doing a greek deal in this grip too
