Suggestions on "must read" books

many of these i would definitely second

here are some that i think are good and have not been said yet (i think)
stars of magic (aaron fisher refers to this one alot)
beyond secret by jay sankey (book on theory)

some must haves i will second for sure are
expert card technique
paper engine
classics of larry jennings
bobo's modern coin magic


people are saying many different books but fyi i (in my opinion) do not think all of these books are "must reads" just choose wisely how you are going to spend your money

Mentalism:
Anything by Derren Brown, Banacheck and Corinda.

I'm noticing a very disturbing trend in the new generation on metalists who have have no idea who Ted Anneman is anymore.

I still can't believe I'm the only person here who has recommended The Jinx, even though it's one of the most important works of magic and mentalism in the 20th century.
