It is interesting to see that the original poster never asked whether the magic cafe is better or worse than T11. Many responses have assumed that this was the question.

Anyway, you don't have anything to lose by joining the cafe, and you might actually gain quite a bit. I am not a member of the cafe (they don't let you register with free email IDs ), but I do read posts by members and if you have the patience to separate the wheat from the chaff, you will find some good stuff there.

Trust me, T11 is a decent forum, but it is not perfect. Even if you don't join the cafe, take some time to read posts by some of its experienced members. The diversity of opinions you get there might give you a different perspective on magic, which should be useful.

People on the Cafe have more knowledge overall about magic. That is undeniable. You have a LOT more working pros on there than on here. If only they could use that knowledge and actually contribute to the community... If they did, the Cafe would be gold. I agree that T11 is nowhere near perfect either. Barely any experienced people here and I see bad advice given all the time on here. Very annoying. Each site really has its own pros and con. I just had it with the Cafe only after a few posts. They are all mentally insane on there.
