Updated Weekly Debate Rules...

Many of you know what the Weekly Debate is. for those of you that don't, the Weekly Debate is a debate thread in which the members of T11 can discuss topics. Every week there is a new question to discuss, however, you still may respond to other questions at anytime. (As long as your info is relevant.)

I have decided to update the rules a bit. Here are the new and improved rules.

1: Debating IS allowed! However, no bashing. Refrain from vulgar language and extremely deep arguments.

1: You may now debate...
2: No vulgar language...
3: Try to make others see that YOU are right...
4: Follow the T11 rules...
5: Say what's on your mind...
6: Have fun...
7: Never back down...
***********************************************************
So those are the new rules... MODS, if you have issue with these then please PM me.

I think you're taking this whole thing a bit too seriously.

Making your own rules for a thread you make once a week(which is no different from any other) is completely unnecessary.

We're capable of having debates without a set of guidelines written by you.

Why not just make a thread that starts an interesting discussion without having to make a big thing out of it like everybody else does.

To be honest it seems like your just looking for attention.

yes. onlyyou are able to argue now in this thread. People don't like arguing in the rest of the site. But now that I have changed the rules you can do that.

You see, I changed the rules because of the exact thing you are talking about.

You can argue in other threads, as I have done on many occasions.

I can think of many threads that have had interesting debates. I have not seen people complaining about it.

You see, I changed the rules because of the exact thing you are talking about.

This sort of thing really annoys me. We have a set of forum rules which work very well. You can't change them.

Just follow the rules of the site. It was never against the rules to debate. ;) (The name of these threads is even... The Weekly Debate. If there was ever an issue, I or another moderator would had contacted you. I doubt we did.:p)

Things have always been fine man. I never saw any problems.

I only just saw that... So the arguments can be meaningful, but not too meaningful?

I interpret it as "keep it safe".

Safe bores me to tears. Too many people here play it safe. A debate should rock the boat, rattle some cages, kick some faces. I measure how awesome a person is by how many people they're pissing off at any given time.

3: Try to make others see that YOU are right..

Welcome to our latest show "Who's More Stubborn: The First to Cave". Whilst I see what you're getting at, this is no different than preachers on the street trying to get others to join the religion.

Maybe that's just the way I'm seeing it... I'm sure Steerpike will kick me in the face with something in a minute.

So that's why you have such a big ego... ;):p

If I had a prize to give, you would have won it.

Maybe that's just the way I'm seeing it... I'm sure Steerpike will kick me in the face with something in a minute.

Actually, that about sums it up. Except if I were allowed to participate in these debates it would be like competing street preachers and one of them is equipped with a megaphone and a baseball bat with nails in it.

.... or... Brian Tudor, since you ARE BrianationX

Okay, my theory is that you smoked an entire brick of weed and then smacked yourself in the head with a stick before coming up with that theory. Am I far off?
