Wallet, Cellphone, Keys ( You don't say )
Minimum 2 decks ( Usually both with borders and different backs )
A ring
A rubberband
A sharpie
Several coins ( usually in my wallet )

Now this is my everyday, or should I say, Impromptu preparation. Which means, I would never know if suddenly someone just point me with a request to perform. These are the "props" that I would bring everywhere, anywhere, anytime.

If I knew I would do several performing ( either by request or just doing street magic )
I would bring the extra following :
Loops
Tarantula ( well, sometimes )
Ultragaff deck, or any gaff in that case. ( depends on my mood , actually )

Of course, these would be the stuffs I bring for a walk-around magic, not a standing semi-stage street magic.

The only thing I always have on me, guaranteed, which I can do magic with is my ring.

I frequently carry a deck of cards, a Superman Coin Bender and a Sharpie, as well as a different ring than the one I always wear.

I sometimes carry a satchel with my various notebooks and journals, which also has a few other magic related things in it at all times. A Pendulum, an Okito Voodoo doll, some coins. A little note pad for doing billet work. Some Dexter Morgan Flesh Colored Putty. Stuff like that.

I really dislike having loaded pockets, so usually I don't carry a lot and just rely on my ability to turn something small into something bigger. I'll also try to borrow stuff and just use sleight of hand many times.

When I walk out of the house it is a TT and silk, rubber bands, orange sharpie, deck of cards and two sponge balls.

NOTHING!

Fact is, if you know the craft you needn't carry anything special, which is especially true for self-described "Mentalists", we have volumes of material we can do that don't rely on having a single prop/gimmick whatsoever.

For non-related reasons I do tend to have a deck of Tarot cards on hand as well as my Abukera deck and in the "wallet" I use for carrying such things you will find a special pad of paper and about a half-dozen little golf pencils, but that's about it.

If I'm feeling frisky I might include a pad of billets and/or my SUC case, my Butterfly device, and maybe a Swami and Shiner but that's very rare.
