What happened to the magic scene on Instagram?

Decided to make an Instagram account for magic again and a bunch of accounts i used to follow back in the day are dead now, what happened?

I remember when everyone was hype on Insta in the 2010s. More people have trickled over to Tiktok and other platforms over the years but maybe its just the platform or the style people post now vs then. I'm always posting but I feel a lot of people got discouraged, I always get trolls as well too.

Tiktok get's you way more views these days. I used to film some illusions on instagram, but it doens't really got a lot of views compared to tiktok.

These days is mostly nobodies revealing tricks for views... such a shame

What's more of a shame is the number of known people who have decided to reveal things instead of creating original content.
