There seem to be a ton of complaints about the stock and finish on the Guardians. They really look like gorgeous cards, but the number of complaints I've seen about clumping and warping and such are putting me off getting them, even for curiosity's sake. I hate to keep dragging E into everything, but the idea of paying Ghost prices for a deck of cards that doesn't have Ghost stock and finish seems a little absurd to me, especially when I could buy a deck of Masters for a dollar less and still enjoy the comforts of a UV500 finish and casino-grade stock. Did the T11 team consider other stock/finish options? It just seems that this new deck isn't worth the paper it's printed on, if you catch my drift. Magicians are much harder on cards than most people, and it really does help out to have those features on a deck that's marketed as being specifically geared toward magicians. If the price were dropped or the finish and stock were upgraded, I'd seriously consider buying them, but until then I'm going to have an even harder time justifying that purchase to myself than spending the extra money on E decks.
