Seems like Mr Madison is always a step behind The Bucks.

Swing Change = GOAT Change

No that it's a bad thing, but I personally prefer the originals rather than the variations.

Not to mention being a few steps behind Sankey.

Alas, I don't care. Looks fine.

Pretty clear how it's done. The basics, at least.

That said, I think it's better than the GOAT change, if only because it can be done at chest height. It's too easy for magicians to do those low, shifty looking moves. Get up out of the ghetts and perform somewhere that frames your face, not your shoes.

GOAT done properly isn't shifty or suspicious looking at all, its almost completely open. And i will always prefer doing something in front of me and the spectator rather than chest height for many reasons. one i dont have to worry about someone being below me rather than behind and two its wear most close up magic happens rather than stage.

You totally missed the point of my post, didn't you?

I know what the GOAT change looks like. I also know that good performers perform higher than waist level. Look at jugglers, for example. A talented juggler keeps the balls in a frame around his face, he doesn't throw them way up there.

Similarly, a good sphereplayer (contact juggler, whatever) does everything at high chest to face level, because it puts more personality into the performance and connects the audience with the performer on another level. Just by raising it up.

Also? There's a reason that people complain about the faceless magic videos that get posted. They're boring. The more you can bring yourself into it, the better, and that doesn't mean your hands, no matter how unique they are.

It says on his website: "This change has to be done at chest/eye level"

Found it amusing you guys are arguing about angles, when he clearly set it out there for all of you to see.

Anyways, im more interested in the music- Which artist was this? or who composed it?

Edit: i would quote him, but it doesnt allow me.

Why would you do this at waist level anyway?
Unless your spectator is at that height(and kids dont give a crap about card magic) then obviously it should be done at chest or eye level.
