Tricks that you have invented

what do u guys think of my trick, lame or good?
The trick sounds really interesting -- a deck disappearing, leaving the spectator selected card in his hands, while it ages. I'm am a bit curious:

The part with Houdini bursting into flames is a bit disconcerting -- how does it further your trick? (Is the deck metaphorically burning?)

Moreover, when the spectator holds the deck, is it with two hands?

Cheers,
JTM

The decks does't dissapper, he is holding the deck with the card inside, then at the end he checks back through the deck to find out his card aged, the flames part that Houdini got his card wrong and all of asoden basiclly he bursts into flames...as i say the flames part i shake him.....the flames part is realy to send him back to present day

,{btw- when i say imange u pick a card from him he thought of thecard he just picked before.}

Ok, I got it now.

The spectator's selected card ages inside of the deck, while he or she is holding it. The presentation is fascinating -- though, disappearing the deck, leaving the chosen and aged card would be mesmerizing. ;)

It's a nice effect with unique patter. :)

What do you people think of an impromptu Rising card in the Box. Any box any deck, not set-up or gimmicks whatsoever. Completely clean at the end.

It's not something I threw together in a day. I've developing it for about 4 months until I finall made it very practical and impromptu.

Also can anyone tell me if there is something like this on the market?

Sounds good, but is there a catch?

First off after I give you the description, don't ask me to put up a vid because I can't. I don't care if you call me a liar, so don't bother.

I'll describe to you exactly what happens. A chosen card is placed in the middle. Could be singned and what not.

Explain that your going to do this under test conditions by putting the deck in the box. Holding the deck sideways, you start to slowly wave the box with the deck in it in the air. One card slowly rises out while waving the deck with one hand. Pull the card out and you show the gap of where the card rose.

Everything is examinable.

Every angle is fine except for someone putting there head on your shoulders and some short guy being under you.

Any deck, any box. No set-up, no gimmicks. Completely impromptu.

I there anything like it on the market? I wouldn't be selling this for atleast another 4-5 months to constantly improve it. How does it sound?

Thanks?

You liar. Put up a video of it.

:p I'm kidding, I just had to say that. Sounds pretty good, as far as I know there isn't any impromptu rising card from the box, but there's obviously Schwing.

I must agree with The Dark Angel. I haven't heard of an impromptu effect, it sounds much like Box Monster but that's a gimmick. Very nice, I don't need a video I believe you. Must be a very clever method, it sounds very good as well since you've covered angles. Angles are my enemy :(

For it to be angle proof like I said it'll make the effect harder, but not too hard.
It depends on how you want to perform it. Box Monster was an inspiration to my effect. I thought how cool it would be to perform a rising card with a borrowed deck. So i made one and a couple months later I made it impromptu. It has nothing to do with the method of Box Monster.

Only con is that the deck has to fit inside the box. Sounds stupid, but if you borrow a deck and they don't have a box, so you use your own, but the deck doesn't fit.

Any suggestions on how I could put this on the market in about 5 months. I would love to go through T11, but they already have Shwing and I doubt they will be interested in this. They have harder hitting effects coming out that will stomp on mine.

Submit it to Penguin and E?

I'm against E. I'm not looking for an argument, but I want anyone who gets it to actually know what they're getting and the truth about the product. I also don't want it to be over priced. I'm not interested in money. Just people using my trick and liking it will be very satisfying.

I'll try Penguin after a while.

Mine is called "Force a Coin". I have the coin in my hand, mind you the coin can be examined before hand. I ask them to pick heads or tails and do a flick right after it, the coin spins up and turns into another coin. Just to make this clear, you can only do this with a 50 cent piece, quarter, dime, to penny. 50c piece to quarter, quarter to dime, and finally, dime to penny. I can't do this affect with a Silver Dollar or Nickle. I can do this both gimmicked and un-gimmicked. However I like my gimmicked version a lot better because it's smoother.
All I need to do is use misdirection for only 2 seconds, not even. The misdirection is so simple though, sometimes you don't even need it. It's as quick as putting your hands into your pocket and your done with the setup.

The reason I use "pick heads or tails", is because it's the perfect invite, I have never had people walk away from me or have a bad reaction. When I got this affect polished up and finally showed it to some people, even though it was my first time, I still got amazing reactions from it. This is not a routine but I am still trying to figure out how to incorperate it into a routine, it's hard to make it a routine.

I was thinking of just putting it in with "Silver Dream" and then once I get down to the last coin, Then I can start doing the multiple change to the penny and vanishing the penny. I haven't tried that yet though. I am still doing it and trying to see if there are any "kinks" in it.

Uncut sounds sick.

Uncut is sick, my friend. You should see the reactions. Now that I think about it, I haven't performed this one in a while.

Um. . . mind explaining? I've been satisfied with everything I've ordered from E, and I haven't felt mislead about anything.

I'll PM you later. I don't want to turn this into an E good or bad? thread.
