i usualy use bicycle or tally ho's. or maybe some pink cards. like using my black tally-ho's though
I've heard that using a black sharpie on the edges works well. Just make sure to let it dry well.Did your Black Tiger decks become all sticky and the black edges of the card start to fade and become all white?
Wow, I read thru this thread and really only one post (lapping) impressed me with choice of decks, this is sad. I guess I don't know anything, heck I've only been collecting cards for 15-20 years, lol.
Listen folks, play and practice with whatever you want, but always perform with cards people know. Put yourself in their shoes, they are already suspicious of what you're doing, don't make it worse by using Vipers or Black Tigers, or some other space age deck from the latest card retailer. Bikes, Bees, Arrcos, or TH9s are found easily by everyone, and all of them are quality decks. Remember YOU make the cards look good not the other way around.

I agree, to a degree, I personally don't use "special" decks when performing for strangers, but if you display and explain them properly, people won't be suspicious, for me I'm asked if it's a trick deck even if it's a normal deck of bicycles sometimes. I think it's all in the way people portray and introduce the deck to the audience.
Thanks Ivan, I just want some of the younger people to realize that there are EXCELLENT decks available right around the corner from them, and that newest isn't always best.
