I flourish because It's fun and it makes me happy. If you're performing magic or whatever for the sole purpose of fooling people, you're doing it for the wrong reason. Magic is meant for entertainment. So is flourishing. You can't entertain yourself that with magic but you can with flourishing. You can also entertain audiences with flourishing so It's a win-win situation.
