The site looks amazing, but as it being quite new, I hope we see more. There's not much to really talk about except that it looks great and has some nice looking effects.

That's why I'm reluctant to post my stuff and give it up to the public because some 8 year old kid will come by and be like "Me s00 gud at liek magic, whatch my tirck I MAdE up!!". Nothing annyos me more than that...nothing...

I agree with that, but for em personally it hasn't been too much of an issue, but I can see how that can be bad for the larger picture.
September 7th (this Friday) the 1-on-1 section will be updated.

I'd like to see a standard portion on the various trick's pages so we'd be able to make a few fast assessments about the trick and THEN continue reading. If you go to the product questions forums on various websites, they're filled with practically the SAME questions about every dvd "is it impromptu?," "can i borrow the deck," " is a gimmick required," etc...
I think it'd be helpful if at the start of the page, there was a brief synopsis that's the same fo all of the DVDs....For Example:
Effect: Stigmata
DVD Run Time: __ minutes
Impromptu?: Yes
If not impromptu, estimated set-up time: ___ min
Can be done with borrow objects: Yes
Angles: 360
Level of Difficulty: Beginner (Intermediate, Advanced, etc...)
General "cons": Here you could put things that may make some not interested, i.e. "requires sleeves"
Those are just examples...but any small section that had the same standard information would be helpful.

Great site guys, and an awesome job advertising yourself to the magic community!
However, I think that the forums are getting clogged up with pointless/repeative topics, and i think that some moderation is required.

well, looks like we have two fronts, people who want the moderatiopn, and ones who don't, I think a few mods wouldn't hurt.
Everything doesn't have to be so black and white---"no moderators" vs "fully-active mod-team." There's a difference in having moderators...and having overly-active moderators. Having a few people to clean up double-posts and posts that BLATENTLY are doubles of a currently active thread is one thing....having people tell you "this thread wasn't needed...there was a topic on it back in 1996. do some searching" is another.
I know a big difference in E's forums and the Magic Cafe is that you don't get told to "use the search feature" nearly as much on the Magic Cafe. Why? Probably because, even though a topic may have been discussed in the past, new members may have comments to contributed....and theories change over time.
Plus, the moderators need not be online 24/7. A few random people who could play "clean up" whenever time allows during their day wouldn't hurt...as long as they didn't get overly-happy with their new positions.

I think it's a great idea, but that idea isn't a reality yet. I will have to wait and see how this whole Theory 11 thing is going to turn out before I can form my oppinion. Pretty graphic and flashy advertising that my computer was too slow for me to watch making me walk all the way up to the library to see it just to find out I have to come back next and watch it doesn't win me over that quickly. You guys gotta come up with something HUGE to keep this company going. Why get Guardians when I can go over to Ellusionist and get some Black Tigers? Or Ghosts? Or Vipers? In order to win me over, you guys gotta show me you guys mean buisiness. I dont mean to rag on you guys or sound harsh but it's true. You guys better be getting something HUGE out on the market if you want to compete with big dog Ellusionist.

I love the new site. you will obviously be better than Ellusionist and Penguin. the tricks you have already beat most of all the tricks the ellusionist or penguin magic would ever have. they are visual, and to the point.

I think that moderators who will basically clean up pointless topics, move threads to the appropriate section and basically keep people in line are needed soon.
THey don't have to be full active and super-strict on everything, but just keep the place nice and tidy.
